For more than 25 years, Metro East Humane Society has offered the adoption of homeless animals to the public.  In addition, the organization offers spay/neuter services for the public at reduced fees to assure that the number of homeless pets will continue to decline in the metro-east region.  MEHS offers:  adoption of both dogs and cats to the public; humane education programs for local schools and organizations; and, humane investigative services in cases of abuse and neglect.  We are open 7 days a week to the public to assure that you can find the perfect pet!  Visit us at our website -- www.mehs.org -- to see our adoptable pets.
